A long work day not quite yet over in preparation for tomorrow. I have a set of sun shields for the windshield and front side windows. They filter light and heat from the outside while allowing the view out. If the sun is not shining directly on the windshield, they cut the glare enough that I can work with the front drape open. I’m pointing a perfect direction – the sun does not hit the windshield until about now – 6:30 p.m.

Bob also benefits as he has a great view and doesn’t bake.

Karl and I and Bob met Heather and Dan – neighbors who do pet sitting in the park. They love animals and Karl and Bob loved them so happy, happy all around. I couldn’t ask for nicer people that I trust with the boys. They are parked directly across from me so very convenient also. A cab picks me up at 7:30 in the morning – hopefully I’ll be home by 6:30 p.m. In the meantime, I won’t worry!

Karl barked at them! The 3 legged Basset was a favorite of Karl’s at this spot.

The ocean – noisy, but beautiful. The fog rolled in mid-afternoon. It was cool all day. A good work day.

…from this spot. While this rv park is really a parking lot with power, water, sewer and cable, it is in a good spot both for where I have to be for work and interesting for off time. People in the office and rvs are friendly and helpful. And while I’m not a huge ocean person, it is fun to be so close for a bit.

Karl got his first view of the ocean. He wanted to go down on the beach but it was a rocky climb down and the tide was coming in. We’ll look for easier access on the weekend.

It’s not Montana, but there are things to enjoy and appreciate on our trip into the city.

Yesterday was definitely an R&R day. I took the day off from driving, mostly from the computer and almost entirely from thinking about anything except our little comforts.

When the dealer cleaned the carpets after my little step fiasco, they left a sample square for a mat. Bob has commandeered it as his own…

The dog run at this park is large and has a bit of agility stuff set up. There is room to run around or just explore. Many parks have a dog run that is about the size of my front porch so this is really nice – yes, a bit of grass would be nice, but the room is grand! Karl heads right back there when we go for a walk.

It was a nice day, just hangin’ out.
