But then we are to bounce back to slightly warmer than normal next week.  <\/p>\n<p>It was shortly after 9:00 p.m. as I turned out the lights to head for bed when I noticed the moon through the trees and the moon shadows in the woods.  Although cool, it was not cold and I dawdled in the dark taking photos and enjoying the night.<\/p>\n<p>Like the Harvest Moon which is bright, large and in the night sky for longer than other full moons&#8230;slower to wane, so is our Summer this year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is still warmer than is typical for September although a cool and hopefully wet change is due on the weekend.
