{"id":8454,"date":"2011-08-09T12:27:02","date_gmt":"2011-08-09T18:27:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fromthefrontporch.com\/WPBlog\/?p=8454"},"modified":"2011-09-10T16:43:29","modified_gmt":"2011-09-10T22:43:29","slug":"hot-and-hazy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beardogco.com\/theroadhome\/2011\/08\/hot-and-hazy\/","title":{"rendered":"Hot and hazy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My day had a bit of flexibility in it and Bob was starting to run low on his prescription food so Bear and I made a morning run to Calm Veterinary in Kila, MT and had a morning walk on part of the &#8220;Rails to Trails&#8221; path that runs between Kila and Smith Lake &#8230;actually the north end of the Smith Lake Water Fowl preservation area.<\/p>\n<p><a target = \"Large\" href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Aug11\/Kila1418.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Aug11\/Kila1418.jpg\" height=\"435\" width=\"650\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Kudos to Bear&#8230;2 bicycles passed us just after I took this photo and he stayed where he was with no excitement or barking&#8230;on a loose lead.  I hadn&#8217;t heard them.  They are supposed to ring a bell or voice a warning&#8230;  We&#8217;ve not been passed by bicycles on our walks so very pleased with Bear&#8217;s behavior.<\/p>\n<p>It was a warm 70F when we walked.
