(see <a target=\"A Raven\u2019s Breakfast\"  href =\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/2010\/05\/26\/a-ravens-breakfast\/\" title=\"A Raven\u2019s Breakfast\"> A Raven\u2019s Breakfast <\/a>)<\/p>\n<p><a target = \"Large\" href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Aug11\/Turkeys1377.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Aug11\/Turkeys1377.jpg\" height=\"435\" width=\"650\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But, this afternoon, we had these visitors.  There is another hen and a few more chicks out of sight, stage left.  There look to be 3 sizes of chicks so apparently each of the hens hatched a few.<\/p>\n<p><a target = \"Large\" href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Aug11\/Turkeys1379.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Aug11\/Turkeys1379.jpg\" height=\"435\" width=\"650\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bob took a laid back approach to keeping an eye on things.<\/p>\n<p><a target = \"Large\" href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Aug11\/Turkeys1381.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Aug11\/Turkeys1381.jpg\" height=\"435\" width=\"650\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I noticed the group as 2 of the hens were heading for the front porch with a determined glint in their eyes&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a target = \"Large\" href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Aug11\/Turkeys1382.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Aug11\/Turkeys1382.jpg\" height=\"435\" width=\"650\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not sure if they were bearing down on Bob or Bob&#8217;s food&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a target = \"Large\" href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Aug11\/Turkeys1383.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Aug11\/Turkeys1383.jpg\" height=\"435\" width=\"650\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The food and Bob are safe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I thought the Ravens were going to eat all the eggs before they became turkey chicks as there was often a fresh empty eggshell on their favored stump in the morning.
