The lupins were blooming in full force!<\/p>\n<p>In my woods, 7 miles north of the nearest lake shore, the wildflowers are typically a week or two behind those that have the extra humidity and warmth of a lake shore locale.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun11\/Lupin0786.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun11\/Lupin0786.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But this morning, in my very own woods,  I spotted some beginning blossoms&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun11\/Lupin0787Crop.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun11\/Lupin0787Crop.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Made sparkly by overnight rain.  <\/p>\n<blockquote><p><small>&#8230;my inner wood nymph skipped through the woods&#8230;tra la, tra la, tra la&#8230;the lupins are blooming :) !! <\/small><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun11\/Lupin0787.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun11\/Lupin0787.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Preview at Wayfarers&#8230;the show is just starting in my woods.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last Friday, Bear and I took a lunch hour break for a walk at Wayfarer&#8217;s.
