Although flurries were predicted to the valley floor, it remained rain, even at my house 100 feet above the valley floor.<\/p>\n<p>But, today, as Bear and I ventured out and back, mid-afternoon, the snow was low on the mountains.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"Large\" href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/May11\/RoadHome0640.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"center\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/May11\/RoadHome0640W.jpg\" hspace=\"5\" alt=\"\" height=\"435\" style=\"width: 650px; height: 435px\" title=\"\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And from my usual vantage point, turning 180 degrees:  big sky, green grass and pasture&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"Large\" href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/May11\/RoadHome0643.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"center\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/May11\/RoadHome0643W.jpg\" hspace=\"5\" alt=\"\" height=\"435\" style=\"width: 650px; height: 435px\" title=\"\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And Bear was there&#8230;on the Road Home.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We had a cold front whoosh through yesterday bringing the snow level down to about 4500 feet.
