Karl and I jumped in the Jeep and headed east over the hill to a spot on Echo Lake where we like to walk.  The summer residents are mostly gone and the lake was quiet under an azure sky.<\/p>\n<p>We mosied along the trail that borders the inlet and out onto the peninsula.  Ducks, seagulls, a turtle and kayakers were on the lake.  <\/p>\n<p><a target=\"Large\" href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Sep10\/EchoLake3823.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"center-noborder\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Sep10\/EchoLake3823W.jpg\" hspace=\"5\" alt=\"\" height=\"450\" style=\"width: 650px; height: 450px\" title=\"\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It was a lovely evening for an amble by Echo Lake.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"center-noborder\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Mar09\/Spacer65050.jpg\" hspace=\"5\" alt=\"\" height=\"50\" style=\"width: 650px; height: 50px\" title=\"\"\/><br \/>\n**What a difference in Karl this weekend!
