But my primary internet connection is via the phone company with a modem and router that require electricity.  And this morning, I was running the meeting as the rest of the team had other obligations.<\/p>\n<p>Poof &#8211; dead air.<\/p>\n<p>But, I have a Verizon Air card and I have 3G service at the house&#8230;so it was a momentary blip, but still&#8230;  <\/p>\n<p>Nearly 4 years in this house through blizzards and thunderstorms and wind storms and nothing more than blinking lights on the odd occasion.  <\/p>\n<p>A little freaky.  <\/p>\n<p>The power was out an hour &#8211; very quiet.
