{"id":45,"date":"2007-07-25T07:01:51","date_gmt":"2007-07-25T14:01:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fromthefrontporch.com\/WPBlog\/?p=45"},"modified":"2023-09-18T12:21:07","modified_gmt":"2023-09-18T19:21:07","slug":"rv-hydraulics-jacks-and-slides","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beardogco.com\/theroadhome\/2007\/07\/rv-hydraulics-jacks-and-slides\/","title":{"rendered":"RV Hydraulics &#8211; jacks and slides"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The motorhome has been to the shop for lube-oil-filter and general maintenance check&#8230; AND for the hydraulic failure experienced on the way home from Colorado.\u00a0 Shop, in tandem with HWH (hydraulics mfg) believe the problem is a bad pump and a new one is on it&#8217;s way from Iowa &#8211; scheduled to be installed on Mon, 7\/30.\u00a0 Too bad it wasn&#8217;t a fuse&#8230;\u00a0 But, I want to document the fuse locations &#8211; for RV friends the Smith&#8217;s\u00a0also Adventurer owners\u00a0and an ORS member with a similar Winnebago\u00a0hydraulic system.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Some photos of the hydraulic pump\/motor, inline fuses and what I think is the hydraulic fuse box (this post to document locations of fuses and hydraulics for jacks and slides):<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"center\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/July20to312007\/HydPump300204.jpg\" hspace=\"5\" alt=\"Pump\" height=\"204\" style=\"width: 300px; height: 204px\" title=\"Pump\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Pump &#8211; looking down into the engine compartment,\u00a0just to the passenger side of the middle, right against the front grille.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"center\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/July20to312007\/HydInlineFuse300393.jpg\" hspace=\"5\" alt=\"Inline Fuses\" height=\"393\" style=\"width: 300px; height: 393px\" title=\"Inline Fuses\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Above &#8211; the elusive inline fuses &#8211; circled with white&#8230;.\u00a0 These were &#8220;buried&#8221; in amongst the wiring for the slide-out solenoids and jack valves.\u00a0 I started tracing wires away from the pump to find them &#8211; once I had the description of what to look for.
