It was cool and quiet, though we are forecast to hit 90 today and tomorrow &#8211; probably the last very hot days of the summer.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m fairly sure this week&#8217;s sun and heat is due to the fact that my birthday Wellies arrived on Monday:<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"Large\" href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Aug9\/AMMtn3588.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"center-noborder\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Aug9\/AMMtn3588W.jpg\" hspace=\"5\" alt=\"\" height=\"450\" style=\"width: 650px; height: 450px\" title=\"\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I ordered them last week when it was wet and rainy.  It will be wet and rainy again.  In the meantime they are brightening up my entry way!<\/p>\n<p>The house painting is done.  I have rollers and pans and water seal stuff all ready to apply to the front porch &#8211; hopefully during today&#8217;s lunch break.
