{"id":310,"date":"2008-05-22T17:39:53","date_gmt":"2008-05-22T23:39:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fromthefrontporch.com\/WPBlog\/?p=310"},"modified":"2023-09-18T12:02:08","modified_gmt":"2023-09-18T19:02:08","slug":"karl-goes-shopping","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beardogco.com\/theroadhome\/2008\/05\/karl-goes-shopping\/","title":{"rendered":"Karl goes shopping"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I had to take an unexpected run into town this morning&#8230;got to thinking that I should do all the stuff I normally save for the weekend &#8211; both to save on fuel (50 mile round trip!) and to save myself from Memorial Day crowds&#8230;well &#8220;crowds&#8221; being relative here in the MT state (MT&#8230;empty&#8230;get it??).  It is not like I have to &#8220;fight&#8221; for a parking space or stand in long lines&#8230;but weekdays, it is REALLY quiet and relaxed &#8211; just the way I like it!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"center\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/May08\/StoreFront500315.jpg\" hspace=\"5\" alt=\"Karl shopping\" height=\"315\" style=\"width: 500px; height: 315px\" title=\"Karl shopping\" class=\"center\" \/><\/p>\n<p>One stop was Murdoch Home and Ranch Supply.  Critters of all types are allowed and welcome at Murdochs.  Karl is a regular &#8211; I always take him in with me when we stop on a weekday and are just getting pet stuff &#8211; which was the case today.  <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"center\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/May08\/StoreKarlEntry500375.jpg\" hspace=\"5\" alt=\"Karl shopping\" height=\"375\" style=\"width: 500px; height: 375px\" title=\"Karl shopping\" class=\"center\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Karl knows the drill &#8211; he heads straight for the pet aisles&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"center\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/May08\/StoreKarlInside500375.jpg\" hspace=\"5\" alt=\"Karl shopping\" height=\"375\" style=\"width: 500px; height: 375px\" title=\"Karl shopping\" class=\"center\" \/><\/p>\n<p>But first we stop to see one of the girls&#8230;Karl likes the girls&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"center\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/May08\/StoreKarlKiss500375.jpg\" hspace=\"5\" alt=\"Karl shopping\" height=\"375\" style=\"width: 500px; height: 375px\" title=\"Karl shopping\" class=\"center\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Hi Sweetie &#8211; how about a kiss?&#8221;  All the girls get kisses!<\/p>\n<p>My hands and arms were full when we got to the counter to pay &#8211; full of bags of treats and the pigs ear that Karl chose from the bin of pig&#8217;s ears.  He always picks his own and it takes awhile.
