It soon darkened and proceeded to rain with a bit of thunder thrown in until late afternoon.  Karl and Bob spent most of the day sleeping: Karl behind my bed and Bob nearly next to him in a spot where the comforter hangs making a &#8220;safe&#8221; place.<\/p>\n<p>I had plenty of work to get done and so just kept at it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun09\/DesertB.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun09\/DesertB.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But that morning walk down the bluff and looking up at the sky and clouds &#8211; what a beautiful start to the day!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday morning was beautiful after the afternoon wind and night rain on Tuesday.
