I have always been a bit “bah-humbug” about the 4th of July. While I appreciate celebrating the birth of the nation, I am not a fan of fireworks … visuals ok but not the noise. But I sure don’t intend to view whatever shenanigans the “government” decides to host and\/or participate in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There … grump over. Thankfully, neither Emmett nor Oscar are bothered by the sounds. It doesn’t get dark enough for the “show” until after 10:00 p.m. and we will be closed up and snuggled in bed by then anyway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is 7:10 a.m. as I write this. 50F with blue skies and singing birds. We are enjoying a quiet morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
