{"id":22,"date":"2007-07-02T06:03:15","date_gmt":"2007-07-02T13:03:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fromthefrontporch.com\/WPBlog\/?p=22"},"modified":"2023-09-18T12:21:35","modified_gmt":"2023-09-18T19:21:35","slug":"the-goat-ranch-and-the-egg-house","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beardogco.com\/theroadhome\/2007\/07\/the-goat-ranch-and-the-egg-house\/","title":{"rendered":"The Goat Ranch and the egg house&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday we visited friends of my folks, Rick and Michele, who raise goats on a gorgeous piece of property with a view of the front range.\u00a0 The ranch is &#8220;off the grid&#8221; &#8211; they get some power from solar panels, but otherwise use wood and propane for cooking and heat.\u00a0 The ranch is also home to 6 dogs, 4 cats and ???
