I am writing this Friday afternoon and at the time of this writing, it does not look anything like Wednesday morning…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RATS!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is 43F and I think it will stay above freezing tonight and tomorrow another 40 something day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However …<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The future forecast says that we will return to Winter late Saturday, early Sunday … early next week at the latest – YEA!! It is mid-February. It should be Winter!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back to Wednesday: lovely overnight snow. The clipper from the north that is now creating havoc in the mid and east of the U.S. brushed by my area Tuesday late through early Wednesday…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lovely, lovely dark o’clock walk in newly fallen snow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Then inside for coffee (for me) and belly scratch for Emmett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Snow day bake of seeded spelt and whole grain fruit and nut loaves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

First daylight walk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

And then to the late morning long walk on the State Land…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

It was a stunningly, beautiful morning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We enjoyed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Friday, it is not so visually stunning, but a good work week, many excellent walks and play, the pantry and freezer are full. I will replenish firewood tomorrow and we should be set for the forecast cold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A glorious Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
