{"id":17393,"date":"2017-03-17T16:30:03","date_gmt":"2017-03-17T23:30:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.beardogco.com\/theroadhome\/?p=17393"},"modified":"2017-03-18T14:12:59","modified_gmt":"2017-03-18T21:12:59","slug":"meltdown","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beardogco.com\/theroadhome\/2017\/03\/meltdown\/","title":{"rendered":"Meltdown"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So.<\/p>\n<p>10 days ago it snowed like it meant it.<\/p>\n<p>And then it warmed up.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Mar17\/Melt0409.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Mar17\/Melt0409.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And it stayed above freezing&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Mar17\/Melt0407.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Mar17\/Melt0407.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Gradually, the dry land appeared!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Mar17\/Melt0414.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Mar17\/Melt0414.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It was a miracle :) !!!  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Mar17\/Melt0419.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Mar17\/Melt0419.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After snow on the ground for three solid months, it seemed like we might never see ground again.<\/p>\n<p>And even with the warm, it was days.  It was drippy and slushy and gray.  It took a long time for bits of ground to appear.  But once things got to ground, the ground increased rapidly.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Mar17\/Melt0421.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Mar17\/Melt0421.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The snowshoe paths I made and maintained for the past three months are the last to melt and now are bridges of ice between snow patches.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Mar17\/Melt0423.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Mar17\/Melt0423.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Meltdown!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So. 10 days ago it snowed like it meant it.
