But, it was cold and not raining.<\/p>\n<p>When I got up at 5:30 a.m., it was snowing lightly and looked like it had just started with maybe an inch of new.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Feb17\/Storm6137.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Feb17\/Storm6137.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Morning treat time after breakfast:  not snowing and maybe 2 inches of snow.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Feb17\/Storm6143.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Feb17\/Storm6143.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It did that a couple of times.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Feb17\/News.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Feb17\/News.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Obviously, it was doing more other places in the valley!  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Feb17\/Storm0342.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Feb17\/Storm0342.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At lunchtime, it was calm and we all went outside.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Feb17\/Storm0343.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Feb17\/Storm0343.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Fun, fun, fun!<\/p>\n<p>I think the total snowfall at my house ended up just a bit over 3 inches.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Feb17\/Storm6152.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Feb17\/Storm6152.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Later that afternoon&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Feb17\/Storm6155.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Feb17\/Storm6155.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8230; the cat saw his shadow.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Feb17\/Storm6163.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Feb17\/Storm6163.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sunshine and blue sky!<\/p>\n<p>Much as I love snow, I was glad we didn&#8217;t get the 15-30 inches forecast at my house!  <\/p>\n<p>On with February and the continuation of Winter 2016-17!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I woke up about 2:00 a.m. and looked out to see how much new snow.
