Although, it has been colder on the valley floor, at my house we&#8217;ve had maybe 3 nights in the 20&#8217;s but otherwise no hard freezing.  The ground is not frozen so when it does flurry, it melts right away.<\/p>\n<p>But&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Dec16\/Weather.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Dec16\/Weather.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yes.<\/p>\n<p>Winter weather in the forecast.<\/p>\n<p>Snow and cold.  Very cold.<\/p>\n<p>I am hope, hope hoping to soon have enough snow to snowshoe in the woods.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Dec16\/Weather5618.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Dec16\/Weather5618.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The snow started.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Dec16\/Weather5619.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Dec16\/Weather5619.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But at the moment, it is still above freezing at 35F.<\/p>\n<p>And then it stopped snowing so we all went out to see what we could see.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Dec16\/Weather5622.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Dec16\/Weather5622.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Auggie found a critter hole on Beardog hill.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Dec16\/Weather5623.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Dec16\/Weather5623.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After some time peering into the hole, he retreated to a perch to keep an eye on the front door.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Dec16\/Weather5625.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Dec16\/Weather5625.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then some &#8220;help&#8221; from Bear&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Dec16\/Weather5626.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Dec16\/Weather5626.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Oh, well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wintry weather has been mostly a tease of light flurries and not very cold temperatures.
