{"id":15933,"date":"2015-06-02T08:26:10","date_gmt":"2015-06-02T14:26:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/theroadhome\/?p=15933"},"modified":"2015-06-02T08:26:10","modified_gmt":"2015-06-02T14:26:10","slug":"this-n-that","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beardogco.com\/theroadhome\/2015\/06\/this-n-that\/","title":{"rendered":"This &#8216;n that"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sometime over the weekend, I noticed a new status icon on my Windows 8.1 Task bar&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun15\/Win10.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun15\/Win10.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A mouse hover displayed the icon hint: &#8220;Get Windows 10&#8221; !<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun15\/Win10B.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun15\/Win10B.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A Click on the icon brings up the Windows 10 reservation dialog.  If you haven&#8217;t reserved, there will be a reserve button in the vicinity of the red circle above.  I reserved before taking a screen capture.<\/p>\n<p>The buzz is that Windows 10 will start rolling out on July 29 to those who have reserved.<\/p>\n<p>Color me excited!<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, after a warm and VERY, VERY dry April and May &#8211; scary dry&#8230;we started getting rain.  A couple of days about 6 drops.  Then some pour little cloud released a downpour that lasted maybe 3 minutes.  It was like teaser rain.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun15\/Rain1639.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun15\/Rain1639.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But yesterday, with flood watch warnings and a forecast of possibly severe thunderstorms with wind and hail&#8230;a gentle, steady rain began.  It went through the night and continues this morning.
