{"id":14052,"date":"2014-01-04T10:12:39","date_gmt":"2014-01-04T16:12:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/theroadhome\/?p=14052"},"modified":"2014-01-04T10:12:39","modified_gmt":"2014-01-04T16:12:39","slug":"i-got-my-wish","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beardogco.com\/theroadhome\/2014\/01\/i-got-my-wish\/","title":{"rendered":"I got my wish"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jan14\/Wish4722A.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jan14\/Wish4722A.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The snow started late afternoon yesterday (Friday), while the temperature was above freezing.  <\/p>\n<p>It continued and at a perfect temperature to mix with the icy puddles and make walking normal again.<\/p>\n<p>We went from ugly to pretty and by this morning (Saturday) there was somewhere between 2 and 3 inches of new stuff.<\/p>\n<p>Perfect&#8230;not so much that anything except the walk to the garage needs shoveling but enough to make walking around pleasant.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jan14\/Wish4720.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jan14\/Wish4720.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And overnight we had a visitor&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jan14\/Wish4721.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jan14\/Wish4721.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mr. or Ms. Raccoon, but I think Mr. because of the size.<\/p>\n<p>2 back feet and 1 forefoot print.  <\/p>\n<p>The forefoot print is about 4 inches long.  Auggie has large feet but his print would barely cover the pad of this raccoon.<\/p>\n<p>If it is the same raccoon that has been around since I&#8217;ve lived here, it is LARGE raccoon kind of resembling a small bear cub!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jan14\/Wish4716.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jan14\/Wish4716.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lots of tracks through the yard, around the garage&#8230; <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jan14\/Wish4717.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jan14\/Wish4717.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;and all around the house.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jan14\/Wish4723.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jan14\/Wish4723.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sometimes, wishes come true.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The snow started late afternoon yesterday (Friday), while the temperature was above freezing.
