{"id":13202,"date":"2013-07-14T16:06:52","date_gmt":"2013-07-14T22:06:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/theroadhome\/?p=13202"},"modified":"2013-07-15T10:51:35","modified_gmt":"2013-07-15T16:51:35","slug":"put-the-lime-in-the-coconut-then-you-feel-better","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beardogco.com\/theroadhome\/2013\/07\/put-the-lime-in-the-coconut-then-you-feel-better\/","title":{"rendered":"Put the lime in the coconut, then you feel better"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I made coconut cupcakes this morning.<\/p>\n<p>And a bit of coconut cake with batter that didn&#8217;t fit in the dozen count cupcake pan I have.<\/p>\n<p>Then, Bear and I headed out and about in the Jeep with the goal of finding a spot to park Wild Thing&#8230;maybe next weekend&#8230;for an overnight.<\/p>\n<p>This time of year&#8230;blech&#8230;too MANY persons are about. <\/p>\n<p>It is hot&#8230;or hottish depending on your perspective.  Today, it was hazy like it was on its way to hot.<\/p>\n<p>Me&#8230;I am cranky.<\/p>\n<p>I turned to Bear and said: &#8220;Bear, the best place to be is home!  Home is quiet and cool and shady.  Let us go home!&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>We went home.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jul13\/Lime2051.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jul13\/Lime2051.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And I think Bear agrees with me.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jul13\/Lime2066.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jul13\/Lime2066.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>He scooped out a cool spot on Beardog Hill &#8211; AWAY from the cilantro :) !!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jul13\/Lime2074.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jul13\/Lime2074.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Me&#8230;I sat on the front porch and looked through the woods at the beautiful blue sky.  And I listened to the quiet.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jul13\/Lime2083.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jul13\/Lime2083.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bob selected a cool, quiet shady spot also.<\/p>\n<p>I guess we are a cool, shady, quiet kind of family.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe we will stay home for a bit in the shady quiet of our own woods.<\/p>\n<p>And have coconut cupcakes and cake with coconut-lime frosting.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jul13\/Lime2084.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jul13\/Lime2084.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lime and coconut and woods and shade &#8211; it makes us feel better.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I made coconut cupcakes this morning.
