{"id":13183,"date":"2013-07-10T19:01:52","date_gmt":"2013-07-11T01:01:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/theroadhome\/?p=13183"},"modified":"2013-07-10T19:01:52","modified_gmt":"2013-07-11T01:01:52","slug":"life-experience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beardogco.com\/theroadhome\/2013\/07\/life-experience\/","title":{"rendered":"Life experience"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It has been 2 1\/2 weeks since our last vet visit (Bob and I re Bob&#8217;s ear infection).<\/p>\n<p>We went today.<\/p>\n<p>The last round of medication resulted in a slight setback.<\/p>\n<p>We regrouped and will go back to the injectible but slightly risky medication.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Clark and I jointly had a case of nerves re the injectible but in hindsight we are kicking ourselves as it was kicking the bugs.<\/p>\n<p>The road not taken&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jul13\/Bob2012.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jul13\/Bob2012.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>While the ear infection is not life threatening, it was making Bob&#8217;s quality of life kind of &#8220;sucky&#8221; (that&#8217;s 40 something Dr. Clark&#8217;s words :)!! )<\/p>\n<p>This latest setback is nothing like the worst we saw &#8211; (minimal, in fact) but no one wants to go back there so&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Dr. C and I agreed to &#8220;suck it up&#8221; and go back to the injectible med with a once a week blood test to monitor Bob&#8217;s kidney\/liver stuff.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jul13\/Bob2014.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jul13\/Bob2014.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bob has been going on about his normal routine.
