{"id":12683,"date":"2013-04-14T12:14:27","date_gmt":"2013-04-14T19:14:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/theroadhome\/?p=12683"},"modified":"2013-04-14T12:14:27","modified_gmt":"2013-04-14T19:14:27","slug":"country-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beardogco.com\/theroadhome\/2013\/04\/country-road\/","title":{"rendered":"Country Road"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two inches of snow fell overnight.<\/p>\n<p>The sun rose in a pastel pink sky.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly before 9:00 a.m., sunshine and blue sky among the clouds, Bear and I headed down the road to see what there was to see and find a country road for a snowy, Sunday morning amble.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Apr13\/CountryRoads0855.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Apr13\/CountryRoads0855.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The scenery was spectacular to the south.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Apr13\/CountryRoads0859.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Apr13\/CountryRoads0859.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And to the north.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Apr13\/CountryRoads0881.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Apr13\/CountryRoads0881.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We found a perfect country road&#8230;actually the continuation of the road home headed West across the highway.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Apr13\/CountryRoads0876.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Apr13\/CountryRoads0876.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Good walking and a clear view of the runs of Big Mountain and the peaks of the Whitefish Range.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Apr13\/CountryRoads0892.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Apr13\/CountryRoads0892.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The ranches and farms were Sunday morning quiet.  <\/p>\n<p>We spent half an hour exploring a mile of country road&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Apr13\/CountryRoads0896.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Apr13\/CountryRoads0896.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;before heading back on the road home.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Apr13\/CountryRoads0898.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Apr13\/CountryRoads0898.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Home to our little house in the woods.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two inches of snow fell overnight.
