Although the scene in the photo looks benign, the air was unusually heavy with humidity and it was very still and quiet.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun12\/Weather5964.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun12\/Weather5964.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bear was on afternoon rounds, I was in my chair&#8230;I checked the weather map.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun12\/Weather5966.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun12\/Weather5966.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bear laughed, I laughed&#8230;we laugh at the weather forecast and enjoyed the afternoon.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun12\/Weather5971.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun12\/Weather5971.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bob is the family pessimist&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun12\/Weather5972.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun12\/Weather5972.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>He wasn&#8217;t so sure we should be laughing&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>It darkened, thunder rumbled, a little rain fell but none of the storms came close.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun12\/Rain5984.jpg\" target=\"Large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beardogco.com\/WPBlog\/blogimages\/Jun12\/Rain5984b.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But yesterday afternoon, Tuesday &#8211; it rained and it has been raining since.  And it is supposed to rain through tomorrow afternoon.
