{"id":1040,"date":"2008-12-02T05:01:35","date_gmt":"2008-12-02T11:01:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fromthefrontporch.com\/WPBlog\/?p=1040"},"modified":"2023-09-18T12:14:13","modified_gmt":"2023-09-18T19:14:13","slug":"oh-what-a-night","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beardogco.com\/theroadhome\/2008\/12\/oh-what-a-night\/","title":{"rendered":"Oh, what a night!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Not &#8220;late December back in 63&#8243;&#8230; early December in &#8217;08 &#8211; yesterday &#8211; which started foggy, changed to cloudy and when I went out at noon on errands, it seemed like it was late afternoon, it was so dark.<\/p>\n<p>Sometime about 4:30, I noticed the sun was shooting low rays from behind me &#8211; from the west &#8211; hitting the tree tops.   Through the trees to the east, I could see an orangish glow from the mountain tops.
