The road to my house is a road I love. The little house I live in, the woods, the meadows and mountains beyond…visible through the woods. This location – it has been home for most of the last 17 years… some of that 17 years was spent in my motor home: ‘Wild Thing’

The story, though, the ‘Road Home’ story…it is the story of moments in time that comprise part of my life’s journey.

My stories and my photos are shared somewhat privately…or as privately as is possible without making access difficult for those I share with.

So, me… I am a 68-year-old female person. I have been a self-employed, i.e. hired gun, computer programmer for 38 years.  I completed my last programming contract in late January.  I still work from home, but not as part of a programming team.  I am still figuring it out.

I am an avid hobby photographer, a new videographer, new artist (watercolor and sketching), writer, scratch cook and sourdough baker. I could live anywhere in the world – I chose Montana.

My greatest loves are my pets:  Emmett an English Shepherd (5 3/4) and Oscar (2 ).  Always in my heart are:  Zack (Karelian Beardog), Gus (Tuxedo Cat), Karl (Karelian Beardog), Bob (Marmalade cat aka Garfield lookalike), Bear (Karelian Beardog) and Auggie (Norwegian Forest Cat).

I try to live each day with Joy and Gratitude, no matter what the day brings. I keep this blog for me and for the joy it brings me to record the simple things that are part of each day. If it brings Joy to anyone who reads a post, well that is an added bonus!
